The Journey

I traveled death’s lonely road
To it I almost bowed.
A numerous amount people have perished in that road
Others desired to stay in church mode.
During my journey
I saw people asking for mercy.
I still can’t believe I came back from that
I mean, who does that?
The road was adorned with loads of blood and various remains
Others were in chains.
I remember my blood boiling as I was getting nearer
To a room full of mirrors.
They shatter in front of me
I knew then that I was part of the dead
But somehow I woke up in a hospital bed
My journey came to an end.

  1. No don’t say that. I love it every time you say it. I feel honor. I must confess. When i was around 7, my teacher asked me what i wanted to do with my life. I said i wanted to be a poet. She laugh in my face and told me to grow up. It hurt so much. The reason i am telling you this is cause you have no idea how much i am thankful for your beautiful words. Thank you 😥

  2. from one door to the other ,,,,and that is all what we need to know about life and death……why should we fear the unknown which is in reality known….just a viewpoint of accepting it is needed…. Death is just the door between two lives, one left behind, one waiting ahead.
