A Little Smile

The power of a smile
Can be felt and seen from miles.
The best medicine indeed is laughter
But also a big, big smile; do it and feel what happens after.

Have done my share of frowning
Suffering and discontented, always bouncing.
If a wounded soul like me can smile to others
What stops others.

Give a smile to your friend, your neighbor or to a stranger
And feel the major exchange of hope, MAJOR!!!
We all need a little hope
We are in this together, see you at the top.

  1. Agreed, but sometimes you’re not even able to smile anymore because your face isn’t used to it, the muscles have changed. So we also need to be understanding when people are unable. Nice poem though 🙂

  2. I wrote about this somewhere. Two girls. No shared language. A hilarious incident witnessed. A shared smile. That smile spoke more than a million words. (It may have been in my wordpress blog)
