Thoughts #936

“The ice on the mountains could be the possessor of truth and wisdom, the only thing we can do is melt it and see what it takes us. Ice is not just ice, look beyond.”

Hello, my name is…………. Wait a minute. My name is not important. I’m a wounded soul that loves to write everything that comes to my mind and what's more important, to my heart. I know some of the things I write are stupid and they may not even make sense to other people, but they make sense to me and that’s what matters. I am new to writing on the internet, so if you guys see any mistakes in my writing, please feel free to message me and give me your corrections. I am a firm believer in learning as much as possible from as many people as possible.

  1. Very contemplative.

I have a question for you, M. What are your thoughts on reciprocity? As far as mutual friendships or relationships go? Do you believe that you get what you give? Kind of like I scratch your back, you scratch mine? Or do you believe that giving is giving and one is not required to respond in kind?

I ask because I love your thoughts and I wanted to see a quote or a little snippet from you about reciprocity and I didn’t find one, so I thought I would ask.

    Have a beautiful night!

    1. Thank You for reading. It is a little difficult for me to answer that, because I tried to give the best of me, but at times poeple see that as weakness and try to take advatage. I will try to do a quote about that or better yet a full post. I have a lot to think about now, lol. Thank you so much for your support and for your question, I really liek that.

      1. That’s interesting. 🙂 But what if one person gives and gives but the friend receiving rarely gives back and the effort is all one sided?

Do you think that the person who is receiving all the time is weak if they start to reciprocate? Do you feel like they’d be taken advantage of?

In my scenario, it looks like the person doing all the giving is the one being taken advantage of. But, if the one receiving were to step up and reciprocate, I don’t feel that they’d be taken advantage of.

What a nice talk tonight. Thanks you. xo

      2. Thank you, and a lot of good questions. It is an interesting situation. if nobody is being hurt then everything is fine, but if sombody is being hurt in the process of just giving and giving, then it is a whole different scenerio
