Illusions Come

Illusions come,
Roses rain down from the sky,
Changing the beat of the drum,
Wiping the tears from her eye.

No thorns,
Only a beautiful connection to the colors,
The horns are gone; NO HORNS!!!
She does not need a cover.

The blanket of sadness is put away,
Just for one day, she enjoys the blues, reds, yellows and pinks.
Just for one day gray is not gray
And while the soft petals of a new day caress her cheeks, she blinks.

Illusions come?
Perhaps she was the illusion,
Trapped on a never-ending glum,
Being part of the intrusion.
