Philosophy #129

“Real knowledge is to know the extent of one’s ignorance.”
― Confucius

confucius5.1

Reading this quote day in and day out, helps me shed the confidence that I know a lot. I rather PERCEIVE myself as an ignorant person, always hungry to know more, than to KNOW that I am somebody that knows it all. Why is it that the more we KNOW the less we seem to UNDERSTAND? Are we really witnessing the slow extinction of the human race?

There is not much I can say about this quote, I believe it explains itself fully.

Leave your thoughts about this quote, I am intrigued to read how you perceive this quote or how you can dissect it further. Thank you and don’t forget to think, for a thing will be just a thing, until you think beyond that thing.
